Steady pub grub which was fresh enough, fair value, politely served. It aint upmarket and the menu isnt exciting but thats not the aim. The Balmoral has a good selection of beer and, in warmer weather, a nice outdoor area. A good place to meet a group of friends for a casual meal. Lots of space so handy for larger groups.
