Not sure how this place is still open with the food it serves.Veggie breakfast: mushrooms, Tom, baked beans, eggsMy baked beans were cold I got served 3 baby tomatoes with half a cup of mushrooms!!Poached eggs were made in some sort of cookie cutter Im questioning whether they were cooked in the microwave?Food took a long time to arriveThe chef needs to be replacedService was good thats about it…..
We popped in here for a late Saturday lunch. There were two choices – chicken, cheese and tomato toasted Turkish or cheese and tomato croissant. We choose the former with coffee (him) and vanilla milkshake (me). The toasty was cold, with the cheese not even starting to melt. Someone put malt in my milkshake. Who does that? The service was average at best and the whole experience was $30. Lucky we dont do anywhere twice.
Stopped here for lunch after a hectic morning at carousel.Staff friendly and the venue itself is welcoming and homely. We had eggs bendict with salmon, and a beef burger. The burger was really nice, would have liked the pattie a tad rarer and would have liked a side of fries as part of the meal.My partner haf the eggs with salmon and hollandaise sauce…which she loved.Oh and the coffee was great…nice strong flavour, great job by whoever made them.
A quaint little place with the ambience like a small local American diner. Food is not fancy, but warm and hearty like from Mom’s kitchen. Coffee is surprisingly good. It also has a ‘pay it forward’ system which you can donate a few dollars to support the local seniors. All in all a hidden piece of community gem.
I’ve been to this cafe quite a few times and they do some pretty big burgers at a great price. The thing I like most about this cafe is the friendly staff and the friendly owners Daniel and Bee.
