My boyfriend and caught up with my parents for lunch in Vic Park. We weren’t sure what we felt like so we just walked down Albany Highway to see what was around. We saw Cinnamon and decided to give it a go. We saw there was a buffet on offer, but we looked at the menu anyway. There was a good selection on the alla carte menu and the prices were reasonable. We all went up and had a look at what was available in the buffet and we were impressed! There was a great selection of dishes, meat curries, vegetable curries, dahl, rice, samosas, spicychicken wings, naan and salad with all the condiments andthe food wasnoticeably fresh. We all decided to have the buffet. It was great value $14 per person and dessert was also included. My mum is Anglo Indian and she commented on how authentic the food is, especially the dahl. The service was great, the waitress was well informed, attentive and polite. I would come again and I would highly recommend.

Best Indian takeaway I’ve found so far in Perth!Cinnamon make their butter chicken exactly how I like it – super creamy, a little sweet, and not too tomatoey. Their samosas had great flavour, and we loved their onion bhajis but by the time we got them home, they’d started to go soggy (probably don’t order the bhajis if you’re getting takeaway). The woman who took our order on the phone was very friendly and our order was ready when we arrived at the restaurant to pick it up, so can’t fault the service at all!Cinnamon is a few dollars more expensive than other takeaways because it’s Vic Park, but I think the quality can’t be beaten. I’d like to dine in and try their buffet next time.

Weekend buffet breakfast for $12 is too good with variety of food and tea/ coffee.Coffee served was not hot though. Staff are very good. 5/5 for customer service.

All good things must come to and end…I used to LOVE this place. It was classy in a simplistic way. Staff were very friendly & the food was great (that hasnt changed) but theyve now started doing buffet dinners…and have completely defaced the restaurant with a smorgasbord. Upon arrival you used to receive complimentary papadums with a mint sauce…but this time we just received water. The staff were friendly although not very attentive. Theres a few noticeable changes in the curries, maybe theyre testing the waters with different spices, but WHYYYYYY do restaurants do this?! If it aint broke, dont fix it! Halfway through our meal the subtle background music began blaring, and was ongoing for around 5 minutes…customers had to complain before staff did anything about it. The smorgasbord is my biggest disappointment really. I mean it brings in a different crowd (not being snobby) but this quaint authentic little Indian treasure is now just an all you can eat butter chicken pit stop. The price for a serve of papadums was $4.50 (5 papadums in serving) which is more expensive than buying a packet from the shop which is around $3 for a 12 pack. I dont know where they pulled this price from?!Would I return? Probably, if I am craving their matter paneer curry (paneer they make themselves might I add) but will I take away? Absolutely! Cinnamon used to be a 10/10 for me, sadly now theyre sitting at the 4.5 mark.

We ordered on Menulog. I would recommend ordering from here if you want to wait 50 mins longer than youd expected for your (now cold) food. Menulog said it would come at 8pm – it came at 8.50. If you like dry onion bhajis, sweet and mild butter chicken (when youve asked for hot), and some weird lamb dish with lentils and spinach that has flavorless lamb and undercooked lentils, then you will love this place. Everyone would like the garlic naan – it was even nice cold. Papadums looked like they came fresh from the microwave. A very disappointing cheat meal. I could have made this with a jar of kantong and been more satisfied.Weve been to dozens of Indian restaurants in Perth and overseas, and this is our pick for the wooden spoon.

Brilliant for the price that you pay!Try out the lunch/dinner buffet. Cost was $ 14 per head (lunch buffet)It had 4 non-veg dishes. To my surprise, all were made well. It had about 5-6 condiments and 3 vegetarian dishes. The only not-so-good part was that the desert (gulab jamun) was room temperature which was a bit of a turn off. The breads were soft and freshly prepared.Thumbs up to the place. Would definitely visit again!

The food is not bad but we had to wait for almost an hour to receive our order. And I do feel the pricing is higher than the value we get. I dont think I would recommend this restaurant
