Jay has done a brilliant job creating delectable curries whilst letting the actual ingredients shine. We had beef samosas for starters which were the best ones weve had in a while- light and crispy on the outside and full of delicious beef mince filling. The chicken curry was our favorite -light and packed full of flavour. The lamb shoulder curry and the beef curry were both full of tender morsels of meat and tasty gravies. Jay also has a great selection of homemade pickles which were a great add on to the meal. We will definitely be heading back there!

Have only enjoyed takeaway but my word, what quality. Thoroughly enjoyed the pork vindaloo, dahl, pickles and simply must return to dine in with a group to sample all your wares. Superb!

Jays Masala Junction is unashamedly a family restaurant run with passion by – of course – Jay and his family. Jay and Glennys have created something which has almost disappeared in supposedly cosmopolitan and upwardly mobile Perth: a simple, honest, small and straightforward eatery where the food that you eat is the food that the chef and proprietor eats too. Jay cooks in the open kitchen, looking across and talking to the guests. While Glennys does a fab job of Making you feel at home. Jays samosas are pretty damn good, I enjoyed the subtle spice and crispy pastry. The prawn pakoras are lovely though, preferred by my palate. Jay makes a mean goat curry and yummy pulled pork. The menu is small but still interesting. If you are a carnivore then youll be in your element. But, catering to local demand, there are some vegan options too, which Ill have to try another time. Bonuses are the price and lack of corkage. And their awesome homemade pickles. Nice. Definitely worth a drive to try.

Omg this place is a gem. We rocked up booking through Dimmi and our mistake by booking the wrong night yet they sorted a spare table with the owner going to her car to grab a spare table talk about going the extra mile. We started with the onion bhaji with pickles and raita and the food was amazing. The pickles which are home made in the store were just amazing. Highly recommend . The service throughout the night was amazing I thought I was in America. The curries were beef and lamb shoulder and they were to die for so much flavour and massive serve we had to get take away. Jay the owner also walked us out the restaurant thanking us for coming we felt so welcome as if we were coming into there house. This restaurant I highly recommend it was just an amazing experience with food and amazing service.
