This tucked away restaurant is in my top 3 favouriteSzechuan restaurants around! The food is very good and the portion is generous.My favourite dishes here are the ba-shu fish and their fried chicken as I neverfailed ordering these two each time I come around. If you do not like thepeppery Szechuan, you could ask for the ba-shu fish without the Szechuanpeppers and it would taste just as great! Perhaps next time it is time to trysomething else (that is what I say every time). This place actually makes me love Szechuan food now.
Though I can’t eat too much spicy food.i found this restaurant food is soo perfect soo tasty..It has become one of the restaurant that I must visit every week..This restaurant make me addicted to szechuan food…I love it..
Got a lot of Sichuan style spicy Chinese dishes but not a chef specialised in such dishes. I’m saying this because I’m from that region of China.Probably should offer some more dishes that the chef is actually good at. Or, get a new chef…
Lamb cumin and crispy intestines are the hero! I always order those 2 dishes and the portion is quite big.. They have varieties of unusual dish which is very tasty.. Will come back with bigger party so i can try more dishes from the menu!
spicy food please! i am a fan of sichuan food and yes this one did not disappoint! we had dan dan mian, pork belly, spicy chicken and tofu.the spiciness was just right too
Awesome Chinese restaurant. Have been here two times now and have really enjoyed our meals both times. The portions are fairly generous so it’s a good idea to go with 3 or more people. The staff are friendly and the prices are cheap. The best part is that they are open till 1 – 2am which is a great addition to Perth restaurants! Would definitely recommend others to try it.
Must try restaurant. I visited this restaurant on a saturday around 1.30pm. I realise this restaurant just opened up around 2 months ago. when i visited there was only 3 other tables occupied inside the restaurant. i would say 1.30pm is pass lunch time?was greeted by a girl. dint really say much, just pointed the way to the table and gave us the menu. they have big variety of choices for the menu. i would say the chef has a great influence of szechuan foods. many of their menu has chillies on it. anyway, i ordered Fried kweytiau, cumin lamb and spinach with garlic.i would say out of the three , the best one are the cumin lamb. i understand this dish is not for everyone. but the dish has heaps of flavour, lambs very tender, serving was very decent. fried kwetiau has great flavour and decent serving too.overall, i would come back to this restaurant to try other foods in the menu. interestingly this restaurant also opens till 1am on weekday , and 2am on weekends. hope they stay open like this as Perth needs to have open late restaurants around the suburbs….. many of them in the CBD area,,, the hassle of finding parking, paying parking etc sometimes is just not worthed
