I had doubts about trying out this place because of all the bad reviews but I honestly dont know why some people have given this place such bad reviews, I personally had a great experience here, yes service was a bit slow but food came out fresh and tasty (definitely worth the wait) . Very traditional Chinese food, and the dumplings were juicy and fresh. Singapore noodles were nice and spicy, and my favorite was the toffee sweet potato and taro! I havent had this since Ive been back from China and its a must try. I would definitely come back again without doubt!

We had the salt and pepper squid, which was a bit burnt in places and not very tasty. It wasn’t overly salty, which was good! We also got the garlic kailan, which although it was a bit oily, it was a large serve! The dumplings were a bit disappointing in my opinion. We got the steamed pork and chives – $13 for 12 dumplings is reasonable. But the quality was just not really there. Bit bland for me as well.Bit pricey overall, but the serves seemed large looking at other tables.

I really did not enjoy my experience here at all. We dined on a quiet Wednesday night a few weeks ago & from the moment the waitress seated us it went downhill from there. It took several attempts to get the attention of our waitress when we were ready to order – the staff seemed more interested in sweeping the floor & taking out bags of rubbish (which is a big no no in my books if people are still eating), than attending to the diners. Between the two of us we ordered the chicken & mushroom dumplings and the fish & shrimp dumplings which were completely underwhelming & in a word, disappointing. Considering this place is a dumpling house I was very surprised at how bland & tasteless these were. The next dish was the Singapore noodles which were so dry and powdery from all the curry powder that seemed to have been added as an afterthought, my partner literally could not eat them. The squid tentacles were very average (too greasy and came out lukewarm) and the kai lan which is such a basic dish was cooked with a sauce that had a very strange metallic aftertaste. The icing on the cake was at the end of the night when one of the waitresses started squealing loudly and jumping around next to another table of diners because she had spotted a large cockroach on the floor (which can happen anywhere but could have been dealt with a lot more discreetly). I love Asian food and have eaten at many Asian restaurants in Perth but honestly the food & the whole experience here was extremely off putting.

Not usually a fan of sweet and sour pork, but the Sweet & Sour Pork here is done really well. Love that they use tender pork ribs in this dish, rather than pork cubes coated in a thick flour mixture. The sauce is authentic and well-balanced; not heavy on red colouring or tomato ketchup. Some of the cold dishes are nice. A few favourites are the Cucumber Strips, Jellyfish with Cucumber & Peanut, and Ox Tongue in Chilli Sauce. Not a fan of their Preserved Eggs and Cucumber- there’s a very dominant spice overpowering the dish.Stir-fry dishes are generally tasty, just a bit oily. Eggplant dishes and braised pork belly are good. Dumplings- have had the pan-fried and steamed ones. Prefer the pan-fried ones over the steamed dumplings. Fillings are good, but steamed dumplings could be better if the skin is less doughy.Service is friendly and efficient. The way the menu is presented is brilliant- images of dishes and brief descriptions of dishes are included in the menu. Lots of free parking space at the back.

Dumplings were absolutely perfect ! Family friendly and food is perfect. The customer service is great and the atmosphere is very calm and nice whenever you want to go there. Suggestion is the pork steamed dumplings. They are to DIE FOR!

We ate here last week. The food and price was decent and average however I wont be in a rush to go back.We had the mushroom and pork dumplings and cold black bean noodles and sweet potato w caramel. The dumplings were tasty however they lacked any dipping sauces other than soy to go with it. The black bean noodles were alright however coild have used a bit more black bean paste.Caramel potatoes was strangely the most expensive but it was worth it 3.5/5
