A top favourite place to satisfy gelato cravings. Love how the flavours are very true to what they are supposed to be, and not just a whole load of artificial flavourings or sugar in their gelato. Owner is very adventurous in creating different unique flavours. Had a cauliflower flavoured gelato before, and it really tasted like cauliflower! It still felt weird having a cauliflower gelato, but it was a pleasant and unique experience irregardless.A few top favourites:Choc Whiskey & PecanPopcornRockmelon & CoconutCoffee & Salted CaramelMandarinHazelnutOnly slight criticism is the sweetness in some of the fruity gelato can vary a bit at times. But it still doesn’t stop us from coming back here over and over again for great gelato.
we usually get the 1/2L take away packs coz theyre really good value for money at only $12, which is much cheaper than any of the other ice creameries/gelaterias in perth. weve had several flavours from here like the lavender & earl grey, vegan chocolate, and coffee, baileys and macadamia. they all taste good, but for some reason the consistency of the gelati from pietro are much less creamy and quite a bit more icey than from other places like jersey jack and gusto (which granted are definitely more expensive). guess you get what you pay for!
I always enjoy my visit to Pietro! Their gelato is always so good! The owner is very creative in coming up with new and unique and interesting and delicious permutation of flavours!! I am always curious to find what new flavour in store. The gelato itself is delicious, rich in flavour and makes u want to come back for more! Staffs are friendly too.
