  We asked if they could serve us coffees after we hd been to a restaurant nearby that didn’t have a coffee machine. Of course! We checked the Menu and didn’t see affogato so checked with the wait person and he said no problem – ordered three (one decaf), a piccolo and a latte. Piccolo was weak and cool. Latte was cool. The affogatos were ok but not sensational. We came to pay the bill and were horrified that it was over $45. It was explained that the affogatos come standard with a liqueur. This was never explained when we ordered and certainly not tasted in the coffee. But as we had two drivers in our party, we believe that we should have been warned that there would be alcohol in them. Very irresponsible ! Be warned – ask if there will be alcohol in any coffee you choose.

  We live locally and like to support new places and we have been here a few times. We like the setting and it’s great to see a place like this in Vic Park where you can go for a late night drink and dessert. But the service is so underwhelming. You take a seat then have to wait ages to get your order taken often needing to remind the staff that you are still here. There’s a lot of activity behind the bar but they aren’t that busy. Then if you want to order another drink it’s like a mission to find someone and get their attention. They should be coming back to the table to see if we want anything else. On a positive the food is good and the drinks great choice just lift the service and this could be top notch !

  Wonderful, welcoming service, came across this place walking along and i am glad i did, the coffee and breakfast were delicious, definitely will be back

  This is definitely an again place. The menu was small, so I hope they vary it regularly, but nevertheless what we ate was enjoyable. It’s good to find something a bit different from the ubiquitous Asian outlets on the East Vic Park strip. They have tried to create something with a point of difference, for example by offering a good range of cocktails, which were reasonably priced. I hope that Tandsmor succeeds.
