We went there first week of opening. It is busy and take a bit long to serve the food out. Maybe not enough staff in the kitchen. Food is good but the portion is a bit small. I still feel hungry after that. We ordered dessert but did not come. When we re order again, it comes out wrong. Hope it will be better now.
One word to describe the food here – AMAZING. From the outside, you wouldnt expect much of this small unassuming cafe on the Albany hwy dining strip. Food style is modern Japanese – we started with tuna tataki (delicious) followed by the watermelon with squid (divine – a must try), black miso cod (perfection), soft shell crab sushi (very good), chicken/rice dish (tasty) and finished with the mango mochi (yum!). Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented, extremely tasty and very fresh. Service was very friendly, menu was varied and pricing was reasonable. Decor and ambience is a little lacking but the food more than makes up for it. A must try.
