BEST fish and chips in perth!!!!I have tried 3 different places in the last couple of months and i will never go anywhere else anymore. Nothing compares to this fish and chips!Massive portions (the always add extra food in), the service is lovely and always so polite and the food is divine!!!!!!!!! It is always ready within 10-15 minutes as well.AMAZING!!!
There are a few food joints in the shopping center now, this being one of them. Chinese family run this place, with the kids running the till. The chips are good, and I sometimes get a portion whilst I cook my own fish at home. The batter in this place is nothing special, and the quality / price of their seafood is average.

Great Fish and Chips. Big generous portions, well cooked seafood and yummie chips. Love their battered squid rings and always have had a big portions of fish too. Great to have this place so close to home.
The Owner is a Liar. Being an Edgewater resident I went to support my local shop. I specifically asked the owner about the Spanish Mackerel he had advertised. I asked if it was a fillet or a steak. He replied a fillet and tbat he had done the fillets himself. I paid the premium price for specialist fish and ordered three fillets which were duly packed. When I got home I was appalled to find three small fish fillets which were DEFINATELY NOT SPANISH MACKEREL. I rang and spoke to the owner to complain but to make it worse he continued to lie and maintain the fish was mackerel. I don’t like liers at the best of time but a liar who is ripping off his customers by charging an inflated price for an inferior product deserves to go out of business. Feel free to go there but buy the cheapest fish on the menu as thats what you get even if its called something else!
Very disappointed. We have only shopped at this fish & chip shop twice. Both times there have been things not satisfactory.The first time the mushy peas were cold – had not been heated at all.Fair enough – mistakes can be made. We are all human.Tonight we ordered 2 pieces of fish, corn jack & minimum chips. Paid $20 for the order.Go home & there was only 1 piece of fish!!!!!Rang the shop – they were not interested. we could go back for another piece of fish if we wanted.By the time we made the trip all the rest of our food would have been cold.We asked for a credit for another time for the extra fish, but they were reluctant to give a credit.
Great fish & chips. The store recently introduced EFTPOS which is nice and convenient. The waiting time is usually ten or fifteen minutes long, except on Friday and the weekend when it can sometimes get longer due to more customers. If you want to avoid waiting long times just give a phone order. I find they tend to be pretty spot on when it comes to getting the food in time. Service is also polite and efficient. Nice touch where they ask if you want your meal salted. Just make sure to specify if you also want chicken salt and vinegar or if you want a lot/little. Also make sure to make phone orders before 8pm, but sometimes they take in-store orders slightly after 8pm. In terms of food it’s some of the best fish & chips I’ve had and I’d definitely consider it a favourite. Many of my friends who also eat it agree that the quality is top notch. It’s not the cheapest around but the value is magnificent for the generous servings and high quality. Chips are excellent, the fish is cooked well either fried or grilled and the extras such as the squid and crab sticks are terrific. The food tastes fresh and their batter is good too. Surprisingly for a store that focuses on fish & chips, their burgers and coffee are also very good. Would definitely recommend this store-especially for other fans of fish & chips.
