Terrible with bad experience & over priced …chinese vegetables are onions & green capsicum only …Won’t be going there again .BBQ pork was smelly …
Had the family over tonight so we thought we would try a new chinese take away as we had just moved into the area. Spent $118 on 5 mains + 2 rice, should of just driven to our old local in Basso would of been nicer and cheaper. The over all flavor of all the dishes was burnt sesame oil. Singapore noodles was really dry and gritty, chow main was just a over powerful garlic sauce.
Great friendly staff. Chinese food is so hit and miss but this little spot nailed it. There’s a chance I was super hungry but I think the food can take the credit 😉 littlegirlbigfood.blogspot.com
Great flavourful Chinese food the portion sizes are big. I ordered The satay beef and sweet and sour pork and it was absolutely amazing!!! Definitely be going back again!! My favourite Chinese in the ellenbrook area 🙂
Great food and if you done it servings are huge. By far the best one in Ellenbrook area. Waitress knew her stuff. Had lunch takeaway and it did the job. Can’t complain.
South of the river is blessed with great tasty Chinese food, what about North of the river?Ellenbrook Chinese Restaurant will satisfy the north with some tasty Chinese food. The chef comes from Hong Kong!Looking at the menu, it looked like any menu from a Chinese restaurant you find in the country, catering for Western pallet but i found some of the flavors better than your well known restaurants in Northbridge or SOR.One thing that stood out was the freshness of the food! What a pleasant surprise!Heres what we ordered: Salt n pepper pork chop: pork was fresh and plenty! Flavour was awesome! Finally a place that actually calls it pork chops instead of spare ribs, because most places serve pork chop, not spare ribs.Szeuchuen beef: beef is tender, flavour is there but lacking punch. At this stage in my exploration…i have yet to find a real knock out szeuchen beef:(Sizzling tofu with mince chicken n salted fish: yum! I liked this one as the chicken bits are more bigger.Prawn with salted egg: what big prawns you serve! Combination dry egg noodles: this had the char of the wok. Generous portion! Chunks of meat and seafood were big, where you can sink your teeth in. No little bitty bits here.Overall it the dishes are slightly more pricy compared to Northbridge but your paying quality and portion i think. It would have scored higher if the flavors that were in the dishes, were more! I just love impact flavour haha.Oh and they need to employ one more staff as it was just abit slow. Tables took awhile to be cleared. The staff they had were fantastic though.
Very nice, good quality dishes. Friendly staff, willing to help. Great for take away on a casual night in with friends. Would recommend and would dine here again.
