Headed in to grab a coffee and cake on Father’s Day and was really impressed with the friendly service and delicious food. Will definitely stop by again for a drink and a bite.
Luke warm coffee and embarrassing service. Went in for a coffee and a piece of red velvet cake on Boxing Day. It wasn’t too busy. About four other couples in the cafe. The coffee took ages to come and then one cup came at a time. Both my husbands coffee and my own was luke warm. I took my cup to the lady serving ( I think one of the owners) and politely asked for it to be heated. She immediately informed me it was hot when she brought it out and asked me to ‘bear with her’ while she went to the coffee machine and got a thermometer . She then commenced to take the temperature of my coffee in the middle of the cafe while I stood in front of everyone. I had no idea what temperature she was looking for as she didn’t tell me, but in any event apparently it didn’t get up to the right temperature. So she then told me again, that it had been hot when she brought it out. I told her both my husbands and mine were only luke warm and could she please reheat them. She told me to take my cup back to my table and she would bring some hot milk. This she did, but brought it out and poured it without asking into both my cup and my husbands, which resulted in very milky coffee which we both really dislike. No apology, nothing. I will not buy coffee there again. The whole thing was very embarrassing.
Service….. I stood by the cash register to order a take away vanilla latte, took about 10-15 minutes to receive my coffee. As I waited, some dine-in orders were racked up in-front of mine. Got my latte’, sipped on it, and I couldn’t understand, why a vanilla latte is chocalate flavoured with vanilla? Ruined my day, coffee in the bin. Cheers.
Good for a bit while shopping. Have had breakfast here a couple of times. feel a little exposed in the middle of a large walkway area in the shopping centre. service is very good, staff are lovely and polite. nice coffee and food is pretty good for the price. will always call in here for a bite or a coffee when i do my food shopping
