This is a pretty average quality restaurant. It wouldn’t be my first choice, but given the options in Ellenbrook it might need to be. My biggest concern is that our order of 5 dishes was ready in 10 minutes. This doesn’t fill me with confidence that everything is prepared fresh. It certainly didbt taste fresh.
Ok most of the time – I still go back. Can be a bit hit and miss – but I’ve not had anything I really hated. One time the sweet and sour sauce was too sour and my fried rice tasted a day old, but out of the 5 or 6 times I’ve been, it’s usually ok.
Best honey chicken ever, highly recommended. Its full of natural flavor &very crispy as the owner used natural honey from local beekeepers. Will definitely go back.
Very disapointed. Ordered Take-away last night (which we don’t get to do very often), we’ve never had a problem before now. I always check when ordering any Asian meals if it contains shellfish (as my husband is very allergic), I ordered with the manager and she stated that there were no shellfish in the meal I ordered. Once home and dished up my sister and I started eating (found lots of prawns!). To my relief my husband had not yet started eating. So this is where it gets ridiculous…. I rang the restaurant back just wanting an apology and replacement meal. The manager tried to tell me that they don’t put any crayfish in meals and that prawns aren’t a shellfish. To my disbelief I was the one in the wrong apparently. So I took the 1/2 meal back to restaurant to collect my replacement (Manager wanted to see) but how dare I ‘eat’ 1/2 the meal and then want a replacement! Because if I had returned with the whole meal (from my house, left the premises) would they have re-sold??? So here I am just wanting to get an apology still, and basically have to defend what is going on, what went wrong and that prawns ARE a shellfish! From someone in the hospitality industry…..bad customer service. Wont be returning which is unfortunate.
Awesome food. Friendly, attentive waitresses, beautiful fresh food. We dine in regularly or take away. Totally recommend especially hokkein noodles and boxing chicken. One of the best Chinese we have had out of the many we have tried.

Very poor food, but if you like your rice dripping in oil / old fat go for it. With the other Asian food options in Ellenbrook why go there???
