Quick service and friendly staff. We had the chicken pad thai (a bit dry but flavours were great), massaman curry (beef was quite dry but again, great flavour) and stuffed chicken wings (delicious).
They do a fairly tasty red Thai curry. Delivery is slower than coastal erosion but if the grub is descent I can live the rest……………
Ordered delivery before 6:30, didn’t arrive till after 8. Spring rolls cold and small, Phad thai was gluggy, stuck together, really unenjoyable, Massaman curry was watery. Won’t be ordering from here ever again, really bad.
Reasonably priced local thai. Always accommodating and making my partner’s pork chilli basil rice for him (even though it’s not on their menu). Service is good and the staff very helpful at all time.
Always fantastic service and the food is great! My family are regulars and order food from here usually once a week as take away. Always high quality!
Ordered online and had my food delivered. Delivery dude was punctual and there was 10% for your first online order. Delivery was $5 from Bayswater to Morley which is reasonable. We ordered: red duck curry, chicken pad thai, garlic mixed seafood stir fry, curry puffs and a large rice which cost us about 60 bucks and fed two with no leftovers.Curry puffs were pretty good although a little on the sweet side. It did mention it was stuffed with sweet potato but I would’ve preferred regular potato. The pastry was nice though. The sauce for the red duck curry was really watery and didn’t coat the duck which made it kinda dry on its own. Flavour was not bad.Garlic seafood was’t garlicky at all, the main flavour was oyster sauce. Whilst I did like the addition of large NZ mussels in the shell, I wasn’t too keen on the use of fish cake instead of fresh fish.Pad thai was awesome though, loved the super fine rice noodles and was my fave dish off the night.Be aware that the large steamed rice barely feeds two.
MSG free!! It’s surprising how many Thai restaurants in Perth still use MSG. The food at Song Thai is good value for money and the people are friendly.
