We heard all the hype about Pescado Seafoods and we couldn’t be more disappointed. These pieces of fish cost us $11.50 each and when picked up were freezing cold, they were greasy and were falling apart, not to mention were tiny. The pineapple fritter couldn’t fall under the term fritter as there was no fritter.. it was just a soggy pineapple. If I wanted this quality of chips I would have gone to the AFL grand final today.. even then those chips would’ve been satisfactory. In total this amount of food cost us $48 … major regrets.

Pescado Seafoods is the best kept secret in Perth! Friendly staff and great servings of food result in an overall exceptional experience. I got 3 fish and chips from the store, and they were large servings of both fish and the Spanish mackerel fish, which was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend, and will be going back for sure.

We recently ordered some Dhufish for our kids from Pescados Seafoods in FLOREAT. We know Dhufish is is premium fish and every time we’ve bought some it is always really nice. But Pescados decided to give us two serves at $19 per serve for 150 grams. That works out at $127 / kilo and what we got was a joke!! Bad tasting, mini serves that looked more like a couple of chicken nuggets. What a rip-off. We will never go back to them despite it being local.

Ok, so finally we have a decent F&C place in the western suburbs. It’s a little on the pricey side at $26 for 2 serves, but the quality is quite good. The fish passes the upside down pinch test and the chips were numerous and cooked at order not before. The oil used is high quality and they cook at the right temperature. The fish was moist and tasty. All in all, I was happy and I’ll be back.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Best quality food and the service was good. Chips were very tasty and the fish was cooked very well. One order was enough for me and my partner. Reasonably prices.

I’ve always wanted to try these guys but they’ve never been open. So felt super lucky when we were craving fish and chips and viola whipped around the corner and it was all open and airy and inviting. With little wooden tables outside it looked inviting enough to eat there. We had Spanish makerel, shark and the pricy snapper (20 dollars) and chips and a kiddy pack. The shark was grilled You can have your fish grilled different ways for 1.50.I love fish and chips like in Ireland/UKbuckets of fat chips and buckets of vinegar and And big battered steaming just cooked flaky fish. Unfortunately I think this meal fell short of the mark in terms of fish, chips and value.i tried all the different packs we got and all the fish tasted the same. I think all the fish were overcooked and were not flaky. The texture on all of them was the same and personally I don’t think the fish wasFresh. It was Sunday tho.The chips aren’t fat chips but I find that hard to find in australia anyway. But as far as chipS go they were fine. I douse mine in vinegar so they don’t stay crispy for long. A small gripe but they didn’t put hardly any vinegar despite asking for loads. Value wise I think it’s a bit steep. Not small but not great either for what your paying but that seems to Perth in general. Probably going to keep searching.Calamari rings were ok.

The food is alright but the portion sizes are measly and therefore this place is overpriced. Any other fish & chip shop would give twice as much food at the same quality for the price we paid. Fish was tiny, potato scallop tiny, chips servings stingy. Disappointed.
