I have to say that the setting in The Mantle helped the dining experience, although the food here is quality as well.I tried the coxinha, which are basically deep fried meat pastries. I thought the ones here were delicious and well balanced by the sauce it was served with. The pork tacos here were tender and juicy, but did not stand out. I also tried the ceviche and this was delighfully tangy and melt in your mouth. Served with tomatillos and crispy crackers for texture, this was a solid dish. However the best part of the meal has to be their yuca chips. Fried to perfection and served with a tangy sauce, I was tempted to go back for seconds.I would have liked to try the desserts but with the temptation of Stampede Gelato next door that will have to wait.

Not sure how I feel about Don Tapa. The atmosphere, service and ambience are great, but it didnt do it for me. While the quality of food is fantastic, and flavours amazing, the portions are small and prices expensive. In fact, after spending close to $200 including drinks, I went home and had some pizza.

While I would like to rate this place higher as I like the atmosphere, friendly service and their novel tapas menu, we were disappointed with the dishes we ordered (very small & overpriced given the quality issues). The ceviche was far too acidic and didn’t taste fresh, and the pork belly was 95% fat and unpleasant to eat. I also think they forgot to clean the table properly as it was sticky all over and the water glasses had food stains.
