Although not strictly the restaurant experience, the food and service provided by Kazoomies is outstanding. They catered for an event and I shamelessly over-ate. Chicken drumsticks fell off the bone, roast veggies perfect, bread options divine and the selection of dips, dips and more dips was too much for my self-control. A future must and worth the trek to Freo.
Sunny spring morning outside with a cold wind. Enjoyed the red lamb shakshuka with a nice spice mix and some interesting textures. Good size and combinations. The Wharfies Breakfast with lamb, spinach and hollandaise ingredients worked well together but very filling. The ginger juices were a nice addition.
Came for brunch for two recently & was really quite impressed with the food here (quality and taste). Ordered the Palestinian shakshuka which was very tasty & theZaldeesh lamb red shakshuka which was also very good (very nice presentation). Both were served with fresh, warm soft flatbread. Tried the spiced home-made lemonade which was different but refreshing. This place isnt fancy given its at the E-shes markets in Freo & seating is outdoors on simple tables, but the menu is original & interesting, the staff are friendly and the food is genuinely good.
