Munchies has been a institution in freo for years! In the 5 years of living in freo ive seen it go thru so many owners! Some good and some unfortunately bad! Sadly the latest owner is the bad! Went to have an old fav! The polo locco chicken burger! Was so unimpressed i dont think we will go back anytime soon! Cheap ingredients and a very soggy burger was not tasty! Such a shame!
Worst burgers ever. Will not be coming back ever again! Poor quality ingredients and over kill on way to sweet sauce completely ruin the burgers! Such a shame because it used to be our favorite place! Would not recommend any one eat here!

Terrible and over rated. Absolutely terrible service & food rude workers with no customer service ethics. They don’t know the menu, gave in cooked eggs, missed the cooked tomato, gave the wrong type of sasuage with the breakfast, the whole breakfast was cold, I will never go there ever again!!!
Steak burger. Just ordered a steak burger to pick up only to open it and the size of the sliced meat was a third of the size of the bun. I have never been so ripped off in my life with a burger as I did just then. Very disappointed with my salad roll I ended up with. Never going back
Sadly this place really does depend on the staff working at the time. We have gone and had a fabulous meal then other times has been terrible. Our worst experience only being this weekend. We ordered happy hippy burger and chips after waiting for nearly 30 minutes our burgers arrived with cheese which is not on the menu. I returned the burger stating had cheese when in fact doesnt have on the menu… our burgers returned with cheese scraped off. This was after i asked the cook if the pattie was new. Returned the burger again trying to explain the reasoning as to why we dont want the cheese just scraped off… received abuse and told to go to mcdonalds!! Sadly if we had gone to mcdonalds we would have got what we ordered. Really disappointed in the way we were treated….and sadly there were many witnesses to this poor behaviour and many other customers who told us well done and how they felt the food and service was terrible…you have lost two regular customers who regularly dined with you.
Use to be an awesome place but gone downhill since change of management .. Foreign staff don’t take the orders down properly .. I asked for poached eggs & sausages .. I got fried eggs & hotdog with lettuce in place of spinach .. When I told the waitress this wasn’t what I ordered, she just dropped the plate on the table & walked off .. Is this service ? I didn’t expect 5 star .. Or even 3.. But I expected to get what I ordered
