A great option for breakfast in Rottnest if you’re on the move or after a cheaper alternative to Dome. Croissants are $3-$4 depending on the filling and are very light and buttery and fresh. I ate 2 in one go on both occasions. There’s also fresh bread and lots of interesting sweets and pies. The staff are friendly and warm.
Okay food, but pretty expensive (as everything is on rotto). Great location though, as it’s filled with happy holiday-goers and friendly quokkas.
With limited food options on the island, especially if you don’t want to do any formal dining and want to get take away, I could see why they can jack up the price on their pies. I found the pies on the salty side and nothing spectacular. The positives is that they do have a good range of flavours and the service is efficient.
This is such a busy bakery as very well known for its good pastries. Had the rotto pie which is steak and gravy. Pastry and filling very nice but it was not hot at all, a little disappointing as they are a little moreExpensive than the average pie. Service and wait time is always great at thisBakery , very organised.
Nice selection of standard bakery food on offer like slices and cakes and they all looked quite nice. Tried a few different items to get an idea of the food. The Oreo cake was quite nice but the red velvet cake was a bit dry and didn’t have the right flavour, while the pastry of the custard square was soggy and disappointing.
Always busy and good selection of pies and pastries. Bread is soft and keeps fresh. The seedy load is delicious. Very expensive. $6 per loaf. Outdoor basic seating but so very Rottnest.
they have the best almond bread! But Coffee is ok and they take a long time to make. My sister had their custard donut, bad! Chicken avocado roll is ok. Decent price for their food!
