One of the better Domes ive been to. Service was excellent, staff were so friendly and the food came out very quick! Sitting along the water is lovely as well to enjoy your breakfast or lunch. Our poached eggs came out a little bit over cooked and wish my pancakes had more maple syrup and berries but other than that it was an excellent breakfast!
Went to this Dome late afternoon today with a group and requested a 3/4 Macchiato topped up. What came to the table can be best described as a milk coffee. Took said coffee back to the counter to describe what a 3/4 mac topped up should look like but immediately incurred the displeasure of the ‘barista’ who told me that she had given me three shots of coffee. Have no way of knowing if this was true but the at least 8 ounces of milk she added was hardly the stuff of a correctly prepared 3/4 mac. topped up. (which should simply be a covering of milk froth to help take the edge off the strong coffee essence)I’ve learnt that in general in WA you can’t win a fight with any so-called ‘barista’ so simply gave up the conversation and she advised that she would prepare another coffee. The next coffee was at best a short mac and had no milk froth on top. Tasted way to strong so I simply left the container on the table and exited with my party.Very hard to get good coffee, well made in WA!
