If you ever wondered what cardboard tastes like then try this place. Got this as a last minute Sunday dinner so I couldn’t take it back as they had closed, I’m sure the paper it came wrapped up in would have had more taste.
Visit this whenever in mandurah. I like that they use rice bran oil as its not as greasy. Have spoken to one of the owners and told its more expensive and cooks at a different temp, but may be changing oils soon.Chips and servings are a bit small but i like them and enjoy the fish burger. Nice aoili sauce.Sometimes friendly servers, sometimes not wanting to chat at all.YMMV
What a rip off. Cons – really small serve of chips, aioli had no garlic in it, despite asking for salt the chips were unsalted, expensive, 45 min wait. Pros – easy to find a table as there were no customers.
Unfriendly. Awful taste.Very unfriendly staff.Never Again.Go if u want to ruin your day out.
Dripping with grease had to get surviettes to wipe grease off yuck
Never Again. Jetty was once our favourite fish & chips in Mandurah. We bought the $14.50 fish & chip special for 2 of us and received two tiny fillets of fish with the tiniest serving of ordinary chips. Our niece bought the same for her 2 young daughters ( who don’t eat much at all) and had to spend another $ 6.00 for another small serve of chips. An absolute rip off – Don’t go!
Greasy, Overpriced, Small Portions. Re-visited Jettys with the family for fish and chips by the beautiful Mandurah Estuary. There must have been a change of ownership as we were hugely disappointed by the whole experience.Firstly the fish was served almost swimming in grease with undercooked and sloppy batter. The chips were nice, but the price demanded ($6) for the serving was ridiculously small and barely fed the 4 of us.Last time Jettys for us. Much better option we have found is Seascapes Fish and Chips. Excellent value, huge portions and not greasy. Go there instead.
