Decent ice cream with variety of flavour. The price was reasonable as well. The boysenberry ice cream was good. a bit sour and sweet. The jaffa was interesting. But i think the tiramisu was the best among those 3.
Sadly we had an awful experience this evening!!We were sitting outside eating our ice creams 14 of us including children and a visiting family from SA .The owner ( well he said he was ) rudlely told our visitor to move their chair as they were too close to the door . I think we were all in shock how rude he spoke to her ,we just left it , but then another person with our group came out and sat down with his ice cream and this time he was not only rude but very aggressive and yelling at us.We quickly left as he was making quite a scene!!Think he may need retraining in customer service !!Shame he ruined a lovely evening !!Review is not for ice cream ( that was yum )
Poor service from 2 young men working there, rolling eyes and sighing when we didn’t realise it was cash only, which is another issue. Icecream was average, no exciting flavours and consistency was just average. No where near as good as simmos down south
Love Simmos! Such a great variety of delicious gourmet flavours. In a great location, have lost count of the amount of flavours I’ve tried!
Disappointing. Took my little boy out for an icecream and whilst i was paying he had a lick and the scoop fell on the floor – instead of offering any help or a replacement the young girl serving us just stood looking – when I asked if he could have a fresh scoop rather than putting the the one off the floor back on, she said it would be another $2 to do so. All in all $6.20 for a single scoop cone and some pathetic customer service was pretty disappointing.
Had a glass of milk for breakfast, well more of a tub, which was frozen, and of the chocolate variety… I had ice cream for breakfast. I regret nothing.
Great Variety. The only bad thing about Simmo’s is it’s so frustratingly hard to pick just one (or two) flavors from their huge range. Also, can be hard to see the selection when it’s so crowded!Between me and my partner we’ve both tried (and loved) the white choc malteaser, banana choc chip, mint choc chip and the marscapone + orange (sweet and subtle, give it a try)There’s a flavour for everyone!
