Monday night cheat meal for two. Sezuchan beef, special fried rice, mixed veges with oyster sauce all quite passable withour being remarkable. Will order again without issue. Online menu is out of date/incorrect prices.
I have been a dining at this place since it first opened but as of recently havent been able to due to uni commitment, given that i decided to use ubereats instead. All 3 times i was given the flattest deep fried wonton i have ever seen, the prawn dumplings tasted washed in water as if they have thrown it in a boiler. It seems this place has lost their love of cooking and seem to no longer care in the food they present 🙁
Love this restaurant, we go regularly. Staff are friendly and food is yummy. Yum cha is also nice but has little vegetarian dishes for yum cha unfortunately.
We love serenade palace for dim sum. Nice and close to home. Friendly staff always very accommodating for our child and pram. Squid legs are my favourite however they are popular and if you aren’t seated close to where the trolley comes out, you may miss out. Dumplings are nice too. We will definitely return for dim sum.
Got takeaway 3 times recently, egg fried rice (pictured) along with prawn crackers and fried ice cream. Fast service, delicious food, the egg fried rice is nice and fluffy and filling and it’s my only local which advertises the fried icecream on its takeaway menu.UPDATE 6 AUG: Woke up this nmorning suffering the effects of a concussion I apparently got yesterday afternoon. I was confused, nauseous and hungry, but discovered that Serernade Palace is open at 10AM on Sunday and convinced someone to fetch me takeaway. Eating a full container of the egg fried was the best decision I could have made. Would maybe not recommend eating a full bag of prawn crackers when you have a head injury, but I did that also and they were delicious. Thank you Serenade Palace.
The food we ordered was terrible worst Chinese I’ve had in perth. We ordered curry chicken and a noodle vermicelli dish. The curry had absolutely no taste it was completely bland and very watery. The noodle dish was also bland, cold and dry. Even the prawn crackers didn’t taste right.
Had dinner on Saturday night and very ordinary. Also to my surprise they ask you would you like some tea and at the end you are charged for it . Hans around the corner is way better and fresher
