Used to be a VIP member, then got bad food (gastro) end of July 2016, but early this year went back, loose scales on the barramundi, young lass said would discuss with supplier, but wouldn’t the kitchen check that. So last night tried again, scaloppini, knife couldn’t cut it, was woeful. I like the staff and owners, but we’re tapped out. Never again.

When is this place going to close!! After avoiding the restaurant for 7 years because of a bad experience, I gained enough confidence to return hoping it had improved, but it hasn’t! Cold food, watery, dark environment, tasteless and expensive. We want a fresh new bright restaurant at Warwick cinema to replace this embarrassing joint!

Have eaten at Topolinis and ordered through ubereats many a time and enjoyed the food. Tonight we ordered and the pizzas we received were nothing short of terrible. Slapped together, too much cheese and tasteless. The base was soggy which it has never been before. My husband also said he could taste that frozen taste to the pizza. So disappointed as Dominos honestly would have been better.

I never even write reviews nor do I ever complain publicly, but this place is a joke. I have been here a few times over the years before a movie as it’s convenient & I’ve never really had a good experience with my food. This particular night just infuriated me & the owner didn’t do anything to make me feel any better so thought I would write a review instead. I ordered the ‘special’ which was (approx) $38.00!!!! It’s was Osso Bucco, which was lamb… I honestly had three little mouthfuls of meat I’m not joking. The taste was delicious but how can 3 small mouthfuls of meat be $38? I thought.. I don’t want to pay that much money for this I can’t justify it? So I told the owner in a friendly manner of course, she seemed annoyed and pretty much shrugged it off & that was it? No amount even taken off the bill. Sorry guys but it’s probably the worst service I’ve ever received & will not be wasting my money on this overpriced place again.

Not sure if they have changed hands, but the new menu is absolutely woeful – the lunch menu was where they once shined. Paid $70 for two parmies – not a shred of green in sight. Not to mention a soggy parmie. The decrease in portion sizes (and lack of greens) to accompany the price hike is beyond a joke. My friends and I would often frequent this place, but not anymore. Better (and arguably cheaper) food downstairs at Dome! The menu was once great, it wasn’t broken – why did you change it?

Not sure why we bothered going back here. I think the only reason this place survives is because they are next to the cinema and people (like me) are lazy! This restaurant is outdated and the food is less than average. Tried it twice in recent years after the movies and both times it has been very disappointing and expensive. Tasteless food that I could make better. Last time we had a watery lasagna that had no flavour or richness to it. The only good thing about the garlic prawns was the size of the serving – it was generous as you would expect for a pricey $21 entree. However, the poor quality shrivelled and overlooked prawns were floating in what seemed to be half a jar of minced garlic mixed with warm butter and oil. I asked for a piece of bread with this dish and this was served in some rusty old red plastic basket which had probably been in the kitchen since the 80s!! Service was ok – obviously a family business as the young boys were waiting tables – but please stop taking plates away while someone at the table is still eating. It’s rude. Thought it could be third time lucky here, but sadly not. Won’t be back.
