Gluten Free Option!!. Great Fish n Chips! Having a gluten free option was so awesome! Fresh and Crispy! Would be good to have a whole real scallop instead of the crumbed kind but otherwise was nice!
I like this place, but maybe reconsider for good friday. This place is usually great, unbeatable. Our sure fire local. However, my advice would be to avoid on good friday. Ordered on the phone as usual, told it would be an hours wait. Fair enough. But then get to the shop an hour later and it wasn’t cooked. Was told to wait another half an hour. The fish was a bit overcooked, And they forgot the salt and vinegar on the chips. The system must’ve got out of hand with walk-in customers coming and going whilst I waited. Any other day, you guys are great, however good friday wasn’t that good.
Best I’ve Had In Ages. If your fussy about your fish n chips, this is the place to go. Went for the first time last week and now will be a regular Friday visit.Never tasted better sqid rings..congrats.JohnSouth lake
Decided to order here after reading good reviews even though it was a 15min drive & there were plenty of other closer options. I placed a phone order & had to repeat it twice that I wanted 2 pieces of fish- 1 battered & 1 crumbed. Ended up getting 1 small piece of battered fish & one separate container with a small, soggy piece of what I can only assume was grilled fish. Maybe the girl who took my order needs to listen to her callers a bit better next time! Won’t be making the effort to drive here again.
The best fish and chips I’ve EVER had. The batter is beautifully crunchy and so are the chips!!! No soggyness! IMy favourite would have to be the deep fried feta and the pineapple fritters with cinnamon sugar!!! They also have GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!!!!
