The food, as it stands, is always pretty good. It’s just that every time I go to Timber, I find myself disappointed with the offerings on the menu.The current menu is quite confusing. For a brunchy place, to only offer 2 or 3 breakfasty options among big lunches and desserts is a strange choice. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be ordering the same thing (eggs Benedict) just because it was one of the only breakfast choices and nobody wants a bulgogi burger or a burrito at 8.30 in the morning.I respect that Timber are trying to think outside the box, but for a suburban caf, I don’t think it’s what people really want.
Visited with a group recently and was very impressed with the decor. Just a bit strange though that it is attached to an open business building of some sort. I had the crispy chicken burger with mirin glaze and dill pickles with fries. It was very tasty, although very messy affair! The food was nice and hot and although it was busy the service was quite quick. Definitely check this place out.
