This place has nothing going for it. The service is extremely slow and the people serving you look depressed. The food is crap and they can’t make a decent coffee
Negative: I went there recently and was very disappointed. Firstly the service was terrible. The coffee was very bitter it was burnt being a barista myself. I ordered a polish donut which was very dark brown in colour nothing like the golden brown colour on the pics. The lady serving me seemed very abrupt and didn’t seem to really give a hoot about the customers. The cakes are like they are in other cake stores but least there is better service. Give it a miss!
Crap experience. Went there this morning with my partner. Ordered two paczki and two coffees, I’m from a Polish family, so I know what I’m talking about. The paczki were overfried and looked like they had chocolate icing on top. I told the lady that I wanted them plain, she told me that that’s how they come. So they were burnt to a chocolatey colour, paczki are supposed to be golden brown in colour. Coffee seemed to be watered down. My partner couldn’t even drink hers. As we were leaving, the two staff members were talking, not even a thank you please come again, or even a have a good day. The owner needs to remind his employees that this is Australia and not Poland. Customer service is paramount to ensure continued patronage.
We’ve all been somewhere before and felt a little ripped off. But here, remarkably, John (the owner?) openly charged me more than what was printed on the menu boards. Admittedly, only about $2 but this was apparently because:1. Avocado is a dollar extra (despite saying $8 for an avocado/cheese croissant) and2. Large coffees are in larger cups (despite there only being a 10c difference between refuse and large printed on the board)Finished the croissant, which was good, before my crappy coffee was even starting to be made. This all while 3 other customers were there. In short, go elsewhere and be treated better
Crap service.. Stopped by last Sunday ( mother’s day ) Lady whom we placed our order with seemed to be in a mood & didn’t seem to want to make eye contact or smile. When we received our order my ‘hot’ chocolate was tepid with the chocolate powder not stirred and bits of powder floating to the top! Husbands capuccino tasted like dirt. Not sure what is going on at this place. Looks like we’re not the only ones who have had bad service judging by the rest of the comments. They need a total makeover as the food all looks good but the service is terrible!
Amazing!!. Coffee is amazing and the nice ladies inside are very helpful!
Polish doughnuts. Their polish doughnuts are really tasty and so much better than Krispy Kreme but pity about the service as they can be quite rude!
