After being recommended to this winery my partner and i thought we would go to have a nice Sunday lunch, upon arrival we were seated and at this point it wasnt that busy.We had been waiting for around 15 minutes before ordering food and were told we could only order food at this time and not drinks. We were a little confused by that but figured we’d be able to order drinks when our food would be served. After waiting for what seemed to be another 15 minutes i noticed that a family function had been served drinks so i decided to go to the cashier to order drinks while my partner waited at our table for the food. Whilst waiting in line at the counter i was pushed back multiple times by a server while he proceeded to serve other people, eventually i ordered my drinks and arrived to my table where the food had finally been served.I ordered the gnocchi (which was pretty nice!) but my partner ordered a medium-rare steak that was completely charred and was very well done. Unfortunately he could only eat the chips and couldnt touch his steak, he was very disappointed. During the whole time we were eating and waiting around not a single staff member had interacted with us or asked how our food was. After switching tables to a quieter spot we were finally given our drinks which were ordered 30 minutes prior, i mentioned to the waiter (i believe his name was Jonathan) that we were very dissatisfied with the steak and were not happy to pay for it and if he could pass on that message to the chef or owner. He was very apologetic and said he would pass that on.A short time after that we noticed the owner go over to the table we were originally at and pick up the steak, look around the room and look at everyone but us, then to our absolute disgust he decided to take the steak to another customer and offer it to her dogs!!!! He didnt even come up to us and ask about the food or offer to resolve the issue. At this point my partner and i were extremely disappointed and flusted and just wanted to leave. We went upto the counter to pay, mentioned that we were not going to pay for a meal we could not eat and that we were upset that no one had come up to us to resolve the issue even after telling a staff member to pass on the message. We confronted what we imagine to be the owner that we were disgusted that he had given the steak to another customer for her dog opposed to coming to us and talking about it. He then said that its because my partner didnt eat it! We were appalled at that and said its because it was unedible and that someone should have come up to us to try and resolve the issue! The owner started to get very agitated at us and started to throw bottle caps onto the counter and stumble off while mumbling under his breath. What i can imagine to be the manager (an asian man wearing white cargo pants) tried to only discount the meal when we stepped in and said that we would not be paying for the steak. After he noticed the owner staring to get aggravated at us he started dealing with the problem professionally by saying sorry and telling us that we wouldnt need to pay for the steak. We were so very disappointed that the owner had dealt with this issue so unprofessionally and started to get angry at the customer. At a glance we were treated with terrible service as if we were invisible, a disgusting, unprofessional attitude from the owner and a waste of 1.5 hours on food and drinks they we couldnt enjoy.

We came here in a big group for wine tastings and lunch. Wine tasting was nice but terrible food. The fettuccine tasted bland. The grilled barramundi tasted so-so, fish was not fresh. Reasonable service and price.

When we arrived the waiter let us know in advance that the kitchen was busy and our food would take a while. I was glad to be informed of this. When our food did arrive, half of it was cold. I had the potato frittata with mushrooms and the mushrooms were cold on arrival, the frittata was lukewarm but became cool very quickly. Two members of our party had the cheese tart and also thought it wasn’t at all hot enough. The food was nice enough but nothing special and limited gluten free options. Plates were slow to be cleared from totally empty tables and we are unsure why, but people were not allowed to sit at tables not under cover even though they had table numbers on them. It was an overcast day so this seemed strange. girlinbetween.com

The amazing staff have always been that X factor which makes Edgecombe Brothers special and memorable for me. I organized a wine tour for my 30th and this was one of the stops. The area they set up for us was lovely with umbrellas and tables of complimentary cheese and crackers. Service was so fast and efficient and they were so entertaining and offered us discounts on any bottles we bought that day.

Been here before for wine tasting and coffee but have left disappointed this morning. Walked in to get a coffee and the man behind the counter told me to ask the bloke in the kitchen window and asked him to look after me . I stood there for 5 mins before he looked at me, I asked for 2 coffees he told me I have to order at the counter safe to say I walked out to get my coffee elsewhere

We enjoyed a very nice lunch dining here. The place doesn’t look like much on the inside but the outside is beautiful, overlooking the vineyards and foliage. Even though they have a very minimal menu, the food is lovely and fresh. The staff are well mannered, friendly, informative and very compensating when it comes to dietary needs. They also sell homemade condiments and freshly picked home grown grapes. Will be dining here again because of the atmosphere this restaurant has.
