Clarences serves up an amazing burger. I’m not kidding. This beats Flipside and Alfred’s (which I absolutely am not a fan of) hands down.The patty is soft, the cheese perfectly melted, the bun is not soggy and it’s just that right amount of sodium to make my blood pressure rise the way I like it. Basically everything you want with a burger.Then it gets better. Because you can have a burger and beer combo and it’s a good deal. The beers are from Feral Brewery and it goes down well indeed after the burgers here.
Whilst the food was quite nice, after ordering the pork belly last night we were shocked that there was only 3 bite size pieces and 2 tinned lychees cut in half which set us back $14. I don’t have anything bad to say about the flavours of the dish just the value which I didn’t think was there.
