We chose 6tapas plates, which was more than enough. They all had a modern Asian-Australian influence, and a great variety of flavours. It’s hard to single out a particular dish because they were all so delicious. The Salad of Zeus was really juicy and fresh, the jackfruit fireballs were like nothing I’ve had before, the shitake mushroom balls were full of earthy flavour, and the sweet potatowedges wereserved nice and hot like they should be. The macadamia satay skewerswere tasty and succulent too. It was great to really stuff our faces while eating so many healthy ingredients in the process! The staff were welcoming, attentive, and friendly, without being overbearing or pretentious. It was a pleasure to enjoy their hospitality. My only gripe would be the background music…It was overly loud incessant electro-swing through very tinny speakers, which made it hard to have a conversation when we first arrived. The waitress very kindly turned it down a bit when I asked, which was a relief. But even so, the same music was playing for the entire duration of our meal. It would be much better to vary the music genres and choose some tunes that are a bit less frenetic. It felt like the music was trying to force us to have a good time, whereas we were already happy to be there. Even so, I’m giving Deja Vu 5 stars, because everything else was excellent, and good value too 🙂

A great place with a good view. I would recommend this place to someone who has gluten intolerances or vegetarians. Really good service too. This place also has some of the best cocktails and Mocktails in Perth.

I really enjoyed this place. I keep returning. Tasty tapas dishes and vegetarian friendly. Polite and assisting staff. They have some awesome charcoal pizza and the potatoes were triggering.

We were a group of 7 so this made is difficult for the waiters to take our orders. I had to order drinks directly from the bar because our orders ‘were missed’. The food was really average, everyone left hungry. The serving sizes were small. Not a great place for groups. I wouldn’t go back.

I luv the idea of tapas – sharing, grazing & sampling small dishes but unfortunately, Deja Vu Tapas did not deliver. Service was attentive so i praise the friendly waiters for their customer service, atmosphere was ok, it wasn’t overly busy, the Rooftop Restaurant is only a month old so the venue looked newly renovated. The food though was a little disappointing sorry to say. Sliders were tiny, about the size of a 50c piece in diameter, the bread was also quite hard, almost stale or perhaps the dough was just stodgy & meat patty was dry. Alot of the foods also lacked flavour or balance, what they refer to as tomato relish looked just like tomato sauce from a bottle, satay sauce really lacked peanut & spices. Mushrooms were overcooked & our fries were totally soggy. Plating of food was ok so some points gained there as were the cocktails, well presented. The restaurant hasn’t been around long, around 6mths i believe so perhaps with time they may iron out a few issues in the kitchen.

Ambience was nice, staff where friendly, drinks were made well. The food wasn’t great. The platters are small with no substance to it. The mushroom bruschetta was bland. Menu is very small with not much choice at all. Probably wouldn’t go back. Needs a change of menu!

We ordered 8 platters in 3 varieties. The food are beautifully played and they are delicious, though on he pricey side. The cocktails were really yummy too! Service was excellent and great ambience. We used to come to the same location for Jap buffet, was great to see the big transformation. Only downside was the ciggy smell from bottom floor had sort of polluted this restaurant.
