Finally came here to have breakfast today. Not a good day to come as it was a little bit windy and the fact that the seating was along an alley made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere. A bit chilly. Moving on, I was surprised when I stepped in to order the food. Really small space inside and there were already like 5 people in that tiny kitchen. I was impressed as to how they manage not to bump into each other every other second. Anyway, I ordered the mushroom bagel and a flat white. Found myself a small corner and waited for the food. The food and coffee came out quick. The mushroom bagel was huge…as with the other dishes that came out from that tiny kitchen. Big portions of food. I liked the fact that they added flower petals onto the dish. Coffee was good and the mushroom bagel was flavoursome and tasty. I don’t frequent many vegetarian cafes as I like a bit of meat on my plate but I must say this is good stuff here. I had to eat just a little bit quicker than usual as there was a cool gentle breeze blowing through which made the food cool really quick. Coffee was lukewarm within 5 minutes of arrival. Maybe on a much warmer day this place would be awesome to chill out for brekkie. Btw, staff were friendly too.
A small cafe tucked next to Varsity Burgers with plenty of space to sit in the sun. They specialize in vegan food and this mac and cheese dish was so tasty! Vegan cheese and truffle sauce was perfect. The coffee and juice was also good, a great spot for a bite.
I love this place. Not once have I not absolutely loved what Ive eaten there.So far Ive enjoyed their chocolate waffle, banana bread, peanut butter Bircher and a variety of yummy cakes and cookies. My fave being the peanut butter blondie, Wowee!I must go back and get the banana bread again because its literally one of the best things Ive ever eaten. Also great coffee and friendly service.
