Wish it was better. We were on our way home on Saturday night and passing through Beaufort Street and had a craving for some butter chicken after a light meal we had already had earlier in the night. We knew exactly what we wanted and just wanted to share a quick meal… We sat at our tanle for about 15 minutes before being served and the restaurant was not that busy. When we (2 of us) ordered our butter chicken, rice and plain naan the waitress treated us like we were being cheap because we didnt order anything else. The food was plain and have had better Indian in Perth although it did fix our craving for the night so our stomachs were satisfied. When paying for the bill the waitress was rude and again made us feel like it was pointless that we came in to spend $28. Isn’t it better than nothing?I really wish our experience was much more positive as I would have wanted to come back for a proper full meal but the service was unimpressive and has put me off.

Best food on Beaufort. I’ve been to Gogos so many times over the past ten years and I really can’t recommend it enough. The set menu is fantastic and such a great way to share lots of different meals. There is no better meal in this world than Gogo’s Lamb Saag!! The staff are lovely and Gogo is a gentleman – will always keep coming back here. You cannot be disappointed at Gogos!!

Lovely. We managed to get a table and have to say don’t understand what people are moaning about. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala ( spicey), Beef Chetinaad and the Vindaloo. All of them were so delicious and tasty! The Naan and Garlic Naan are to die for. We plan to head back this weekend with our kids as we have found our favourite Indian restaurant in Perth.

Pathetic portions and over priced. I ordered the gogo’s tasting plate thinking we could share the plate between 2. When the plate came out there was 1piece of chicken, 1 prawn, 1 springroll, 1 samosa and 1 beefball and that cost us $14.50. We also ordered the lamb curry. So disappointed food was tasteless and bland!! Worst INDIAN FOOD EVER! NEVER COMING BACK IT WAS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!11 Oct, 2014PATHETIC PORTIONS AND OVER PRICED. The food is small in portions i ordered Gogo’s tasting plate expecting it to be a dharing plate. The food came out and there was literally 1 small piece of chicken, 1 springroll, 1 samosa and 1 prawn. All that for $14.50 Not impressed. WAY TOO OVER PRICED

Curry and cricket. I wonder if some of the negative reviews I’ve just read here are coming from some kind of personal vendetta. We went to Gogo’s recently with a group of Indian friends, and found the food varied and delicious, beautifully cooked with interesting layers of flavour and spice – not overpowered by chilli but definitely not underwhelmed either. In fact, more like food you get in India than the over-salted, over-spiced chain meals I think some of these people must favour. The cricket memorabilia adds to the occasion, as does the attentive but unobtrusive service. The charming and unassuming Mr Gogo was happy to have a chat with us afterwards about his experiences with Australian and Indian cricketers, who request his cooking when they come to Perth.

Watery tasteless Indian food!!! I live on Beaufort street- tried Gogos once years ago and hated it but decided to give it one more chance. YUK!!!!! Serialist can get better indian curry from a soup can. Not Indian food(I am indian) and not crn close. Also staff were very abrupt when picking up order. YUK YUK YUK!!!!!

Had dinner here a few nights ago. This is by far the worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted in my life. The dishes are disgusting and overpriced. Don’t bother and just go to 2 Fat Indians instead. Friendly service but I don’t tip for a grand total $88 dollars for two dishes and pashmiri naan with jelly in it. Disgraceful!
