Ok, I was seriously doubtful and even more so when we walked in… but, despite some average service, the place was a winner. The cheesecake was incredible and exceeded expectations.
Came for a late night visit after dinner on a Saturday night and the restaurant was quite full. Nice enough ambience and a total of 8 interesting desserts to choose from on the menu, we settled on 3. The Beignets (coconut doughnuts) were sadly disappointing, being very bland and a little dry. The Choc mint was next with a beautiful presentation, but failed to impress as anything overly special, essentially consisting of a (very hard) bland biscuit base, chocolate mousse, and a mint gelato (which was the nicest part of the dish in my opinion). Finally, we had the Citrus cheesecake which was quite delicious, fresh and again nicely presented (the biscuit base was unfortunately rock hard and quite difficult to eat). We asked to order a digestif with our desserts and were surprised that they didnt carry any at all, which seems odd at a place that is aimed at attracting a post-dinner crowd. Not sure Id be back here in a hurry.

This place specializes in desserts. The dishes we picked that day were all beautifully presented, though I thought the tastes/flavors didnt quite hit the spot. They also do an afternoon tea set menu, which will require booking a day in advance – would love to return to try it.
