Hands down my favourite high tea. I’ve been there three times now. Amazing service, and the menu is always changing and always delightful. They truly go above and beyond the standard high tea experience in Perth.
Excellent service and delicious food. My friend and I came for brunch. I particularly enjoyed the corn fritters with avocado. I will definitely go back.
We had to wait for our table good 20 minutes even with reservation. Interior Decor and Food is well presented but not much at all and small portions from memory I think I had 6~7 tiny bites and tea for $60.
Very average experience, had a booking for 11 of us and we got there on a 40c day , there is NO AIRCON so it was not pleasant inside. We were not offered any water upon our arrival and our table wasn’t ready until 20 minutes after our booking. The service was slow and not friendly at all, we were not greeted by staff and when we were ordering the waitress didn’t speak to me at all, she just stared at me until I asked for my tea and moved onto the next person… it was very awkward. The food was nothing special at all, cucumber and egg sandwiches to begin with, tea didn’t come out until after the food. The food was nicely presented but the table was not cleared regularly and cutlery was not replaced at all throughout our meal so the spoon we used for our tomato soup was also used for our dessert. There is allot to be improved upon here and at $60 per head we left with allot to be desired.
Had high tea with friends today. Food was tasty and well presented but service was really disappointing. When staff were clearing the savory dishes I we were handed back the teaspoons we had used to eat our soup to eat dessert with too!!!! We were then asked to leave after only being seated for an hour and 40 minutes so that the tables could be reset.
Decadent interior and gorgeous tableware I came here for a friend’s baby shower/high tea. The food was indeed picturesque but wasn’t fantastic in terms of flavor. We were served unlimited tea but had to bring our own orange juice?? Weird.
Genuine advice for people looking to book for GROUPS… Avoid Avoid!! Life happens and sometimes a child can fall sick or a babysitter may cancel last minute and regrettably you have to call your friend to cancel your attendance last minute 🙁 I booked and paid a deposit for HighTea 14 people ($406) for my friends baby shower. The night before 2 people regrettably had to cancel due to the above circumstances and our numbers reduced to 12. I contacted Rochelle Adonis staff at 8am and was told they had a strict cancellation policy and that I would have to pay for all 14 settings for our 2pm booking. I even said I would be happy to just forfeit the deposit paid for 2 people ($58) but they made me pay for 2 full settings. I was $116 out of pocket :-/ This high tea experience is nowhere near worth the risk of losing so much money due to their strict cancellation policy. So my advice is, if you are searching for a venue suitable for a group, LOOK ELSEWHERE! It is not worth the risk of having to fork out so much money if your guests cancel within 5 days of your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. Like another person reviewed – there are too many rules! As per the website: If you cancel your booking less than 5 days before, you lose your deposit! only if its more than 5 days notice will they let you transfer your deposit to another date and if your no. of guests change they require 5 days notice or they charge the full amount on the day!!(which was my situation) DO NOT RISK IT, Avoid, Avoid Avoid!! They do not budge. The venue is nice enough and the rations of food that you get were nice enough, but no where near worth the $58 with only tea/coffee and my guests agreed. My advice would be to take your group booking elsewhere, where you won’t be charged if your guests have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. You will get far better value taking your $58 elsewhere and booking at a venue like Atrium Burswood for example, where the quality and quantity of food will exude Rochelle Adonis. Theres no point being hungry after spending $58 dollars.
