Been driving past this little spot for a while now and finally got to try it. It’s a little hole in the wall place that does small coffees for $3.50 and large for $4.50, some small food items like toasties, banana bread and bagels. The flat white was smooth but lacked any great flavor, maybe too milky for my liking. It was OK and would probably suit that who like a milkier/weak coffee, but Bossman coffee nearby is probably a better choice for me.

Small booth on a corner of a busy road, if you are to set this up I would expect to have a good coffee as that all they really do there. Terrible coffee and very milky, I had a cappuccino, won’t go back even after the 1st try! Save your money

Great concept and use of space. Coffee is ok, but can’t see myself lining up again in the drizzling rain and cold wind when there are other places around that offer just as good coffee and other offerings.

Brutal honesty: I think this place is there to compensate the fact that Fez has bad coffee…well I wouldn’t say Standby’s coffee is amazing but it’s pretty decent! The guys working there are very friendly and chirpy, that makes the waiting time go faster. I have yet to try their bagels but they did look really good! Welcome to the neighbourhood, great addition to the coffee scene in Mt Lawley!

Cute little shop out the back of fresh provisions with stylish black La Marzzoco machine. Service was fun and friendly.Flat white was well done – chocolate and velvety style that worked well with milk.Cold brew was balanced and full flavoured.Everything bagel with chive cream cheese was toasted crispy and not too dense. One of the nicer bagels I’ve had in Perth.A great addition to the area and will compete with Chu and Bossman for my regular dose of coffee.

Seriously good coffee – flat whites, iced lattes, cold brews & filters are all on point.Great friendly staff too.Great concept and an awesome addition to Beaufort. joshgetsfat.blogspot.com

The bagel with everything-pepper, salt, onion, sesame, poppy seeds and jalapeo cream cheese is outstanding, spicy as hell, toasted warm and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Coffee is top notch and the owner is the one behind the counter so it’s made with love. Cute wooden stools and tables, dog friendly and a great location with heaps of parking, first hour free.
