It was all just a bit average. We purchased a Scoopon voucher and I’m glad we had this as I’d not have been happy to pay full price.The menu is nothing exciting and I was confused by ordering chorizo funghi as it didn’t come with mushrooms. My dish was fine, nothing exciting and just tasted a bit bland. The pulled beef benedict was more like a lunch dish plonked on a breakfast dish – very gravy flavoured and a bit underwhelming. Both dishes came with a lot of salad leaves which doesn’t really float my boat for breakfast. I also had a hair in my dish which is never nice!Staff were pleasant and tried very hard but overall it was below average against other breakfast spots in the area. Also, we tried to call to make a booking but the phone number on the website and voucher was disconnected. Not a big deal but when we turned up we were told we had to make a booking! Mentioned we’d tried to call and later she made a point that we really did need to book. This place will not last long if they treat customers the way my friends and I were treated today. This is where pleasant Sunday breakfasts go to die. Food was unimpressive and service was terrible. Only go here if you enjoy shrill, aggressive lectures from the owner/manager throughout your meal. Never again.
Stumbled upon a Lovely and Friendly Cafe/Restaurant today while on my way to a job interview. The customer service was great they made me feel better about my interview and the food and service was exactly what I was looking for. The coffee tasted like coffee which is hard to find these days. I loved my experience and will recommend to anyone. #Joemuggs cafe/ restaurant
Booked in for breakfast for 9.30 today and got there and it was closed. I was half expecting this due to another review that said this happened to them on a Sunday, but both the store and the deal we got said they were supposed to be open today, and they took our booking (eventually, when they actually bothered to check their phone). Tried calling both of the numbers listed but no answer, and not expecting a response back. Not impressed at all.
Tried to book a cudo voucher but unfortunately they never answer calls and are closed on sundays. Will be seeking a refund. Don’t waste your time trying to contact these guys …
Bought voucher from Cudo but couldn’t get hold of anybody in the mobile no they had given so just went to the place this morning and I regretted straightaway. No menu, had to pick from 4 choices so chose 4 full breakfast, the toast was cold, burnt and hard, all the food was cold, the bacon was cold not crisped. None of us finished the breakfast. Never again! Just being nice is not enough, need to have good food too!!!
We went to Joe Muggs for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The staff were friendly, with our food being flavoursome with generous portions. Thank you I will be back.
