Took the husband here because it was close to where we’d just spent the morning and reviews seemed reasonable. We arrived about 12:40 pm on Thursday – our table for 2 was inside and there were a few other tables inside seated already, but most were empty. Outside it was a different story, as most the tables were already taken. I briefly considered asking for a table outside, but as I walked to the ladies (outside) I caught the whiff of cigarette smoke. They have a smoking and non-smoking outside dining area, but let’s face it, smoke moves. Our friendly waitress came and took our drink orders within a short time and we perused the menu. I ordered the chicken, avocado and sundried tomato wrap (with chips and salad) and my husband ordered the steak sandwich. It took about 45 minutes to come out; luckily we weren’t in any hurry so we weren’t bothered. My wrap was cut in half. The first half I ate had ONE sundried tomato in it. It also (strangely) had regular sliced tomato in it along with lettuce, mayo, chicken and avocado. It was a bit bland and I was disappointed about the solitary sundried tomato. My second half, I unwrapped first and chucked a load of pepper in and counted 2 sundried tomatoes. The pepper helped with the blandness. Chips were fresh and hot, but I was too full to try the little salad. My husband’s steak sandwich was tender, but he said the mayo was unnecessary as it covered up the taste of the other sauce and made it a bit bland as well. He said if he went back, he’d ask them to leave the mayo off.All together, the meal itself was ok – nothing fantastic, but nothing terrible either. Maybe the kitchen was short staffed, as meals seemed to trickle out. The floor staff worked like dogs and still managed to smile and be friendly. 2 glasses of wine and a JB in a can – just over $60.

Food was amazing. We all enjoyed our meals. Coming back for the Sticky Date Pudding, which was to die for. Service was excellent, and nice ambience. It wasn’t too noisy so we could hear ourselves speak. Really impressed by the quality of the meals. The chef is really good. Looking forward to returning.

Oh deary me, what a great way to enjoy Sunday lunch, really nice atmosphere as soon as you enter, the staff are affable and friendly, service is prompt and the food excellent with a variety to suit all pallets.

Make no mistake — The Iris is a golf club brasserie. Nothing more, nothing less. Its popularity has increased with non-golfing customers but it’s still essentially an after-game bar.I’ve been here a few times with different groups of friends. Each time has been hit and miss. Food is average to ordinary and prices are slightly high but not over the top. The cocktails taste watered down. A nice place for lunch on a sunny day mostly because of the atrium design that lets the natural light pour in. But don’t expect too much from the menu.

A great spot for lunch after a round of golf, business lunch, work drinks or dinner with the family. We frequently lunch here after a game and have never been disappointed, generous portions, reasonable prices and great out door area overlooking the golf course to enjoy a couple drinks.

Went on Sunday for lunch with group of mums and kids while dads played golf. Everyone enjoyed their time at this restaurant. They have jumping castle and face painting for kids on Sunday’s. Also live music. Meals are generous and nice selection too. Beautiful food and pleasant atmosphere.

Caesar Salad with Salmon. Get it. Great place for a business meeting style lunch. The parking out front is good as well. If you happen to work over at the industrial area over the road, this is a great place to entertain clients
