Purchased special fried rice, honey chicken and wonton noodle soup. SFR was so dry and bland, had no flavour and the rice was clumped in the container. Honey chicken was cold and flavourless aswell. Wonton soup was ok however lacked flavour and wontons
A main dish and a large rice should feed a couple but it never hurts to get another main and have the left-overs for lunch the next day :pThe Grand Essence chicken is a must try. Another favourite are the prawn spring rolls or fried wantons with sweet and sour sauce.
A little overprice and food wasnt really good. We ordered honey chicken and the batter was way too thick. It was twice the thickness as the chicken. Satay chicken skewer is not good, chicken is very hard to bite and sauce is thick and very claggy. Would be better without the peanuts on top. Beef Kwai teow isnt authentic at all. Rice was still raw. We normally have no left overs. Tonight all meals are nearly full.
