Terrible phone service, wouldn’t honor online free delivery service even when order was $130!! Very disappointed with food experience too much sauce very little content
First time at Mayur Indian and I thought it was great. The lamb saag was a delicious 10/10, the paneer curry was good at about 8/10 and the lamb korma was ok (bit too sweet and the chicken was dry)The quality is overall very good, with a decent amount of meat. The naan bread was fresh and delicious. The place was very clean and tidy. The waiters were nice and service quick, but the guy needs to lift his voice from a whisper so you dont have to struggle to hear what hes on about.Check it out.
Ordered the family pack and asked to exchange 1 plain naan for 1 peshwari naan and pay the difference. Staff said NO and were very rude and would not even give an explanation.
Went with another couple – they’d been there before but it was our first time. Husband and I over-ordered; we had deep fried prawns (8) and onion bhaji for entree – generous serves and probably should have ordered one or the other. Delicious. The other couple were wiser and shared a tandoori chicken entree – once again, a generous serving. For mains, husband and I had lamb rogan josh, Bombay chicken and rice. Our friends ordered chicken tikka masala and a spinach dish and rice. You guys need to try the Bombay chicken! All the sauces were thick and flavoursome, the meat was tender. We could have shared one rice between four. I took wine and my husband ordered a JB and Coke. Our bill was about $90. They do a roaring takeaway trade. If you decide to dine in during winter months, bear this in mind as you will need a jacket with the cold wind blowing in every few minutes as people come to pick up their orders. Definitely recommend.
The smell driving past is always so mouth watering. Decided to give it a go. Didn’t disappoint. Delicious butter chicken, saffron rice and paratha. We’ll be back.
Had a great meal, the extra hot madras I ordered was exceptional almost as good as the UK and the butter chicken was nice and creamy. I have been to lots of curry houses around Australia and have to say the food was some of the best I’ve tasted I highly recommend you you try it
Ring ringRing ring Ring ring Ring ring No answer… Ring ringRing ring Ring ring Ring ringNo answer… When y’all are ready to answer the phone let me know!Managed to get through on another occasion and, mid order, was interrupted whilst the person took another call! Not just to put them on hold, actually took the call. Of course I hung up. Needless to say, never again.
