Yuck. This place is rank. Salmon tasted off, serving was absolutely tiny for the price paid. Undercooked toast. What a waste – never again!
Nice place for a quiet break.A savoury snack choice would be nice, to go with the sweet stuff for us boys.CheersBoyd
Average Cafe at most. The coffee is good and when I say good I put emphasis on the word good not fantastic or anything special. The food is also good not great but rather its quite expensive. The atmosphere is majority old people and retired folk that enjoy creating the cafe as a meet up spot for afternoon tea. In my opinion the staff are very friendly apart from the Chef which has been heard coughing in the kitchen as I ate my lunch (In some respects that was a put off for my food) overall I would give it a 6/10
Simple but pleasant. Nothing particularly flashy by any means. Service was prompt and friendly, food was nice if not slightly overpriced (but given the area, I can’t say we were surprised), and coffee was excellent! Definitely reccommend if you fancy a quiet sit down with some light food and good coffee
OK…but need to rethink value for money. Getting tired of cafs thinking it’s ok to overcharge, without even trying to offer something to justify it. Paid $10 for a Ham and Cheese panini at B & C this week, containing only single layer thin slices of processed ham and processed cheese on dry bread, no condiments, nothing! Same thing, stuffed full of ingredients is $8.50 at Floreat Forum. This is actually a very nice little cafe but with no competition closeby, whilst most things seem made on the premises themselves and of good quality, there is a certain arrogance and disrespect in this approach to pricing and lack of effort. Some things justify the cost but many items not. Will go again as necessary but learning what to avoid!
$9 for a turkey panini!!!. $9 for a turkey panini. Contains processed turkey. Apparently it was supposed to have cranberry and pumpkin on it. Maybe they showed the sandwich those ingredients. Really average, bland is probably being kind, not worth anything like $9. I’d guess it would have cost maybe a dollar to make. Looks like Perth’s rip off culture has permeated every corner of the city. Give it a miss.
Lunch. Great little cafe serving home made salads, sandwiches etc. great coffee too!
