YUMMO!!! So quick and easy and TASTY! Will most certainly be back! Fresh, great quality meat and I believe reasonably priced considering what some frozen supermarket meals are going for these days! Cannot wait to try out the fresh made foods!

Love this place. Saves my (proverbial) bacon every time I can’t be bothered cooking. My kids also love it (they ‘taught’ my teen to eat two previously snubbed veggies, just because their gravy in their roast dinner is so good!!) and I love the fact that it’s homestyle cooking that’s fast and fresh. Never leave Wembley; we’d starve!! :))

Absolutely amazing food! Blue Spoon is my go-to for take away dinners! Chicken parmigiana and the chocolate mousse is a must have when you visit Blue Spoon

Went here for the first time after hearing good things, but have to say was very disappointed. We had the family lasagna but found it very dry, and too much pasta and vey little meat sauce. Too much penny pinching spoiling what could have been a nice meal. Not sure I will venture back

Places like these remind me that you haven’t seen it all until you’ve really seen it all.Blue Spoon, with the unfortunate acronym of BS, is a takeaway joint. Serving up hot meals from industrial ovens and cold meals from their cooler, it was surprisingly busy when I pulled up, hungry and in a rush. I stopped on the verge – for the brief 5 minutes legally provided – behind a Land Rover, who had parked moments ago for the same reason. Legit parking in the area is split between a number of restaurants, so if you intend to explore the other places down the strip, come early? The hot fare is classic and comforting, averaging $13-15 – beef guiness, roasted veg with fantastic caramelization, chicken parmi that’s $10 on Tuesdays and probably Fridays iirc. The cold section is mostly pasta in a variety of sauces. There’s salad and drinks too, and a menu that does better my silly attempts to recount it. I got the beef lasagna, the last slice in the tray, for $8.50. A couple of notes – legit meat sauce rather than tomato sauce with mince, nice bechamel, edge bits were wickedly delicious. Ordering had a short learning curve. There is no clear boundary between people who’ve ordered, people who want to order and people who are looking, so bring your best are-you-waiting smile and point. (Hey, if pram accessibility is a thing in reviews, so should social functionality.)I realize that $15 for takeaway in a plastic microwavable box is the same price as dining in. I figure it’s the higher end food they offer – I think I saw tenderloin or somesuch cut of steak in there. I also realizd that 4.0 seems like high praise for what was a warm lasagna on the small side, but I rate on what (I think) the place tries to achieve. Blue Spoon is a suburban outlet for busy couples wanting a nice night in, singles want something classier than IGA’s or Indomie’s repertoire, and those who want some redeeming warmth as they are made to munch in the sodium glow of streetside lighting. It’s a no BS experience and chance are if you live there, you already agree. hubpages.com

Always friendly service and fresh food. A great alternative for fast food – the red thai chicken curry is superb amongst a diverse menu. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

This place is very good. Great food. It is just a shame i don’t live closer and can only have it when I visit friends in the area. Haven’t had a bad feed there. Very friendly service
