Came years ago. I think there was a buffet that night, a lot of people were outside. Came as a group of three, the only people inside. I ordered steak and chips, it was good, nice size. Around the time our main meals came out, I remembered a story that I had heard earlier that day from the local Mad Man. He claimed that his friend had gone out to a beach and sniped refugees on their boats. I had listened to that story with a straight face as he had told it but the absurdity had finally set in. I started uncontrollably laughing. Managed to tell my dining companions the story inbetween fits of laughter and soon all three of us were beside ourselves.The waitress was nice about it and didn’t stare.The only real letdown was the desserts, they only had this freezer burnt vanilla icecream at the time.
