IT’S CHANGED!!. I guessed that this restaurant had changed owners after the last time I ordered take away from there. My family and I have been getting takeaway from there for the last 30 odd years and always really nice and big servings for the price. My favourite of all time was the satay beef or combo. Last time I got take away everything seemed different and not as nice. Will give it another go but wish the chef kept the same previous recipes.
New owners. The new owners have changed my favourite meals, ordered Chinese Bbq pork it looked like satay with some sauce. Also the prices have gone up, take away so only discovered when got home.
It was ok. I really dislike frozen vegetables in dishes. If these could be replaced with fresh vegetables, it would really bring the quality of the dishes up.
The restaurant needs a good makeover, definitely looks outdated, but the food here always puts a smile on my face, I do love the golden eagle.

Good :). The staff are very friendly, there are large serving sizes (for the take-away lunch) if you are looking for a consistantly decent, cheap meal I would recomend this resturant- After all, where else can you get good takeaway chinese in Kalamunda?
I gauge every Chinese takeaway i have with friends on golden eagle, they are the benchmark of Chinese cuisine in Western Australia
