Beautiful and delicious food always. Crispy barramundi and salad is a yummy light meal. Hubby had duck confit, his favourite, and he devoured every mouthful. Oysters kilpatrick are also our favourite starter and these were plump and juicy. Delicious! Finished off with a afogarto with baileys . I am one contented patron. Thanks Siriana and to your very talented hubby chef.
After a Year of taking over the Blue Ox, We finally got to try out Kandel Bar & Grill. Well, I should of gone a year ago. Myself eating the Lemon Saffron Chicken. Best chicken I have ever tasted. The sauce was spectacular. Every time I moved a piece of chicken , there was ANOTHER piece of chicken. Not eating all day I found it hard to complete but I did. Wife & friend had the Thai Beef Salad, enjoyed very much, Very tasty heaps of beef. great taste. Mum in law had the ribs. Fell off the bone and since they come in 400 and 600 gram she was glad for the smaller serving as filled her up. Very happy camper she was. Young bloke had the Penne and could only fit in half of it. HEAPS of Mushrooms but could of been more chicken (ONLY down side for the night). Friend had the Scotch, asked for Medium-Well Done. Cooked to perfection and the next meal I have on visiting this little gem of a restaurant. Also had the Garlic bread, YUMMY. Try it, you will not be disappointed. Total cost including reasonable priced drinks was $247.00 for six. Only down side on the drinks was no local pub beer but hey, Jacks and coke at $8 a tall glass I can handle. ENJOY and thanks Kandel.
