Saturday Jan 6th 2018Poor service except for one young woman who seemed to be left with taking orders and waiting and clearing tables. Order was forgotten about and took over 45 minutes to be resolved. Iced coffee and iced chocolate were small and of below average quality compared to other cafes on the Eastern side of Perth. Rice paper rolls and calamari rings were satisfactory but beer battered fish was so oily it was unpleasant and not eaten I do not recommend this cafe.
This place is a real hidden gem in Kalamunda! Walked by today with my son and decided to stop in for a quick coffee, but after seeing the cakes on display we couldn’t resist. We ended up ordering a coffee, an iced coffee and the gluten free blueberry yogurt cake. We aren’t gluten free but it looked so good we had to try it. Drinks and cake came out almost at the same time which is a big plus for me. Nothing worse than finishing your cake before the coffee comes out. I’m happy to say, the cake didn’t disappoint. It was really moist and fresh, my coffee was perfect and my son said the iced coffee was the best he’d ever had. We were really impressed with the service and food so we’ll definitely be back to try their breakfasts and make our way through the cake cabinet.
We have breakfast at Crema every Sunday and sometimes on a Saturday too. The food is great and the coffee excellent. The staff are also really friendly and never hesitate to cater to our dietary needs. I highly recommend Crema Gourmet Cafe next time you want breakfast or lunch in Kalamunda – just don’t pinch our table out the front! Another big plus – they are dog friendly..
