Very disappointed! Expensive and flavourless. Worst Indian I’ve had in over twenty years. Went on Sunday night when no other customers present and had chicken tikka – greasy, dried out/chewy, almost no flavour & very small portions; and saag gosht (lamb) – very salty and not much other flavour – tasted like it was from a jar/packet. Only positives were that lamb was tender and rice was well cooked. So sad as it’s the only Indian in Kalamunda at the moment 🙁
I have ordered take away Indian from from this venue several times and each time I have been really impressed with the food.What I am really impressed with is the size and amount of meat used in each dish. I have had Indian food from other places and I am usually a bit disappointed with how curries can be mainly the sauce and not much meat, which isn’t ideal if you want to order a few different curries to share.
Cheap eat with byo, food was a long wait and very stuffy inside the restaurant, didn’t appear to have any a/c on. Food was what you would expect for the price. If I return it will be for takeout only! Be interesting to see how this place goes in the coming months. It was busy inside the restaurant which is good.
