Been wanting to try this place for ages judging by all the great reviews. Rocked up at 8am today and there was no food except for toasties made to order from a small menu.Ordered a regular skinny capp and very disappointed… the Blacklist beans weren’t full-bodied enough to give me that sharp caffeine hit first thing. Much more insipid and watery than that, and not hot enough either. Zero density to the foam on top of my coffee — it had collapsed and practically disappeared by the time I’d walked back to my car.Service was friendly though, and the place is nice and roomy which makes a change to the current poky cafe trend.
Haven’t been to Sprolo for a few years, so popped in this morning. Was surprised at how few choices there are for breakfast compared to last time we were there. Apart from toasties, there was a choice of two flavours of muffins and I must say they were light with a crunchy top (just too sweet for me, which is why I never order sweet muffins normally, though there was no choice). Just hot out of the oven too. Ordered tea and coffee. So disappointed everything was served as if a takeaway – plastic plate and takeaway cups with wooden stick for stirrer. The tea wasn’t even served with a teapot – bad bad bad and I’m guessing it was just a teabag, however that wasn’t even in the paper cup. Despite the nice muffins, we won’t return – we might just as well have ordered our breakfast as a takeaway. Nice friendly staff though.

Nxt time we will probably share one!They also had a selection of some juices which were niceWill definitely be back for coffee!
