Tasty well prepared and presented food. I love the chicken curry pies and the savoury scones. Also they have a great selection of desserts. Polite attentive staff, cosy relaxing ambiance and quality food make this one of my favourite local cafes, recently discovered.

We had lunch on a weekday and it was busy which is a good sign. Ordered drinks and toasties which took almost 25 minutes (I was aware of the time as I only had 1 hour break for lunch). To be fair there was only 2 staff on and they were both working as hard as they could. Chai latte was the best I’ve had in a long while. Toasties were ok. The cakes/desserts looked amazing. If I had time I would have had some. Might have to come back next time to give it a go.

Great coffee shop. Toasties and coffee is great. Saturdays get a bit busy – I think they might need a few more staff, and I think they will only get busier with more people discovering it.

Came here for the first today. Had a long black which was strong and served at the right temp. Soy chai latte was very good. Iced choc was also really good. We also had muffins and boerie rolls. The muffins were light and fluffy and the boerie rolls (sausage in a bun) was in a soft roll and the sausage was really tasty. New cafe for us. Will be back. Caters for kids too with colouring in and toys and high chairs. Staff friendly and polite.

Im South African born and have lived here in Perth for five years but there are some things from the country of my birth that I still crave. Be it biltong, drywors, boerewors, chutney, iced zoo biscuits, jellytots or flings, this fabulous shop has it all.The coffees are really good and served with warm and friendly South African hospitality. Beverages available include a range of coffees and teas such as Rooibos (caffeine free SA tea that has all sorts of health benefits), hot chocolate, baby chinos ($1 each), chai lattes and a divine Rooibos Espresso. The menu is not extensive but there is a focus on South African favourites with changing daily specials, such as Durban Curry, Bobotie, Curry Toasties or Boerewors rolls (South African sausage in a bun). Yum is all I can say. buggybuddys.com.au
