A couple of weeks ago I was away for work in the South West region with one of my colleagues. One of the places that we stayed at on this particular trip was Kojonup. Where is that you might ask? Kojonup is a town 256 km south-east of Perth along Albany Highway. Now being a foodie I was a bit skeptical when my colleague suggested that we eat at the service station. She said that she had been there once before and the food was decent. I agreed to go and was actually pleasantly surprised. The place is not anything fancy and is tucked away in the back of the service station. The food offered is definitely pub food and were massive serving sizes. Price were reasonable and the quality of food was decent. I really enjoyed the garlic prawns which was part of both the meals that I had eaten there. I had the fish which tasted fresh and the steak was cooked well. A good place to go to if you are every in the area and need to stop for a feed.
