I had roast duck with rice, half a roast duck and special fried rice delivered to me through UberEATS. It didnt take long and the food was decent, however I dont think the price you pay is worth it.
Worst place I’ve ever been. Unfortunately I’ve ordered take away duck at that place. It wasn’t cook properly. Duck with blood, have you ever tried that? Also they refuse to change that bloody duck or give back money. ( Asian woman in middle 30s with short heir been calling her self manager )That was my first time paying $50 for uncooked duck. Almost everyone who I know complain about that they cheating on price. Just check check them on fb or google. Recommend you to stay away from that place, as it’s plenty Chinese restaurants in Perth that provide good service and great food.
This place was used to be the so called bakuteh house but seems new owner has taken over the business. You can see roasts upon arrival outside the restaurant and they are not bad actually. Place is quite tidy and staffs are friendly. If you are tired with the crowds and noises inside the foodcourt, give this place a go, i am sure you would enjoy more in here than thegreasy foodcourt inside the shopping center.
I have only tried the take away combo pork roast with rice, greens and pickle with some thin style gravy. Delicous! And the service was super fast and friendly and I used my card to pay, unlike at the markets next door, cash only. I eat at Spencer Village Market a lot, there is no BBQ available in there any more. Recomended.
11.22am on Sunday 19/3/2017, Bad customer service.Rang to check if they accept eftpos as I would like to do takeaway for one dish only. She said min $25. I said then dont worry. She just hung up. Although I just live close by, I will never visit this place.
Great little place in Thornlie, Much better than the food in spencer village these days. And the Roast Duck and pork is always so fresh. Ive never had a bad experience with the roast meats here. And my favorite drink the Luo han Guo, which they make there!
Average chinese restaurant but definitely not bad at all as the food are decent in terms of both price and taste. They probably lose customers due to their location next to the big food court just next door in Spencer Village – I mean the only reason I tried this restaurant was because the food court was closed. But as I mentioned, Good Friends is a decent chinese restaurant with plenty of sitting, super friendly wait-staff and variety of decent chinese food. My favorite would be the omelette chicken, satay chicken and the roast pork of course. With average price of only $16 per meal, I say this is a good place for a quick and quiet dinner with small groups of friends and family.
